CFWF benefits Beacon Education, a nonprofit driven by the belief that every child has the inherent right to a high-quality education and is committed to eliminating barriers, ensuring equitable access, and offering transformative opportunities for all families. Since its inception in 2016, Beacon Education has been a steadfast advocate for education equity, particularly through its dedication to GLOW Academy, North Carolina’s only all-girl, tuition-free public charter school and its mission: to ensure She Will Graduate, Go to College, and Succeed in Life. In a groundbreaking move, Beacon Education has recently expanded its impact by launching Spark Academy. This innovative venture marks North Carolina’s inaugural mixed-income, early education center, for children aged six weeks through Pre-Kindergarten. Spark Academy is designed to provide quality education to young minds, setting the foundation for a brighter future.
